I finally had saved up enough money to be able to put a down payment on a vehicle and I found a place that would take $500.00 down. I took my mom to co-sign for me being as I don't have a license. All around the store and all on their website it is post free 24 month or 90 day warranty on all vehicles purchased through them. So I gave the $500.00 down and signed the papers. They had told me that they had just repossed this van and that they put in a new motor.
I asked them for a carfax at least three times they avoided me asking all together. So about two weeks later I'm on my way to work when the van overheats (and a Pontiac as well) which is not good for me so I manage to get the van home and I call them and tell the that they need to come get the van so it can be repaired since I am supposed to have a ninety day warranty which included the engine. About another week goes by and they finally give me a call saying that I do not have a warranty because I only paid 500 instead of 600 dollars down which is BS because that is not what they advertised at all I thought I had a warranty the whole time.
Anyways they say to me that I can give them another three hundred on top of what I already gave them which was 500 plus the first payment of 389.00 or I can give them another 600.00 dollars and get another vehicle. I say no I want to see the receipt that says you put a new motor in this van a month ago an hour later they still can't find the receipt and the whole time being very rude to me they already made me wait an hour before I was helped and now another hour waiting for a receipt.

They could never produce it and I went and did my own carfax that I paid for out of my own pocket. Nothing they said was true about the vehicle and it wasn't reported that it had got a new motor. I went and got a lawyer to send them a certified letter to cease and desist and they send a letter back saying they were going to try and sell the van for this price at the auction and whatever was left over from the sale I would have to pay now there is a charge off on my credit report for 7,644.00 dollars.
I only had the van for 2 weeks and it broke down on me and the ended up ripping me off for about a thousand dollars and I have nothing to show for it. They are bad people stay away from them. They have been expecting me to pay 389.00 dollars every two weeks but for what.
Any car you choose at Motor Fair will come with up to a 24 month Free Nationwide Warranty*. Covered components include the Engine, Transmission, Drive Axle Assembly, Seals & Gaskets, Labor, Rental Benefits & Towing. (YEAH RIGHT).

Why are you looking for a car when you don't have a license?

So about two weeks later I'm on my way to work when the van overheats (and a Pontiac as well) which is not good for me so I manage to get the van home and I call them and tell the that they need to come get the van so it can be repaired since I am supposed to have a ninety day warranty which included the engine.

So, the car overheats and you STILL drive it to get it home.  Sorry, but under that circumstance NO WARRANTY is going to cover the damages.  At the very first sign of overheating you need to shut the engine off to prevent serious damage.

They could never produce it and I went and did my own carfax that I paid for out of my own pocket.

You should have paid for the carfax BEFORE purchasing the car.  This is called due diligence.

I went and got a lawyer to send them a certified letter to cease and desist and they send a letter back saying they were going to try and sell the van for this price at the auction and whatever was left over from the sale I

That's what happens when you DON'T pay as you agreed to in your loan agreement.  They sold you a clunker, but you didn't perform your due diligence as a car buyer.  I'm curious to know if your lawyer advised you AGAINST driving without a license-you are putting other, law abiding, folks at risk!

They are bad people stay away from them. They have been expecting me to pay 389.00 dollars every two weeks but for what.

Indeed, they are used car salesmen-liars one and all.  That said, you are NO BETTER than they!  YOU choose to drive without a license and put others at risk!
