I went to buy a bike from Motorcycle Mall in NJ, they quickly negotiated a fair deal and I left a deposit once we agreed on the price. When I came back to pick up the bike they jacked up the price $600 almost ten percent of the whole price. I asked them to own up to the price or I will take my business elsewhere. The finance associate threatened me and said if I dont purchase the bike from their store he will close the credit line with the finance company, to make sure I dont purchase the bike else where. I got my deposit and left. The following day I found another dealership and agreed to buy the bike from them, the dealer called the finance company and was able to verify that I was approved, the finance company told the dealer to wait while they call back to make sure I didnt pick the bike up at the other dealer. Next thing I know my account is red flagged, Motorcycle Mall said I was buying the bike for another person, a straw purchase. Gladly the guy at the dealer worked with me and I got an even better deal, but had to use another person to sign for the bike. DONT GO TO MOTORCYCLE a bunch of liars and jerks try to make you feel like you owe them something. I hope this helps STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

When you come to Motorcycle Mall an established business for over 33 years and negotiate a price and leave a deposit the deal is made. When you come back down and shop the price out of state there is no tax fee applied on a non registered unit. The difference is in fact the 7% state tax.

In addition, having to shop for approvals on numerous units due to bad credit will cause for the other difference of $120-$180.Having poor credit not allowing you to make the original purchase was in fact the root of the problem.

Furthermore, when a bank notifies you as the dealer to a straw purchase we can not sell you the unit. Purchasing a unit under a different name other than that of the end user is considered a "straw purchase" unless you are married or have legal obligations to the party you are applying for. This was clearly stated to Motorcycle Mall's Finance Officer by Sheffield Financial and they can be reached at 1-800-438-8892.

Finally, it was stated in your own words that you did make a straw purchase by "but had to use another person to sign for the bike". Clearly we as a dealer would not allow for this to happen in our establishment especially since this is the root of what caused our industry's financial crisis.
