I bought a used '98 Honda CBR 600 and I wanted to buy a new helmet. I was going to the department of motor vehicles to register it and they wanted to see the engine number under the ferring. I didn't have tools to open up the ferring so I went to the Three Bros. because a friend refered me to them before about a helmet.

They looked at my tires and told me I needed new ones. They also told me the chain and sprocket needed to be changed. They also recommended a tune up. I figured I would change the tires and get a tune up because I was going to get one anyways. I wanted to make sure my used bike was in good condition.

The total comes out to $500 with labor, the minor tune up, tires, and parts. Before taking my bike in, I had no problems what so ever. I noticed that when they started the bike that they had a little trouble at first. I got it home, and the next day I start it, warm it up, and ride it. Less than a quarter of a mile it dies on me and I can't get it to start.

Later that day I try it again and it won't even start. I went in just to borrow tools to take off a ferring and end up buying new tires, getting a tune up, and wrecking my bike. The fact is, that before coming in, the bike was great and I was happy with it. When I left the bike couldn't even start.

Basically, I jumped to conclusions. I guess it was because I spent so much for everything. I did not get ripped off because my problem with my motorcycle was easily fixed.
