Motorcyclecarbs.com,Inc Robert Reil Took $430.00 in cash and about $ 2,000 in a set of carbs for 83 Yamaha motorcycle Kennesaw Georgia
I sent my carbs to said company in August of this year to be rebuilt. I call Motorcycle.com before hand to get information on shipping and cost. Mr.Reil told me that the cost would be $430.00 dollars to rebuild the set of 4 carbs for a 1983 Yamaha 750 Maxim motorcycle.
I email Mr.Reil in the middle of September about my order. He said that his wife was taking over part of the bussiness and to put a stop payment on my check.
( I have email from him to this fact) I checked with my bank and found check was cashed.
I called Mr. Reil about this matter (404.406.3452) cell (937.2325) (618.1269) and got the same old song and dance.
It is now October and have emailed Mr.Reil on this matter and have gotten noware with him, I feel I have been taken for the $430.00 plus $13.00 to
ship the carbs, Plus about $ 2000.00 to find a set of carbs that will fit that year of motorcycle.
I hope you can help me.

This excuse may have been valid in 2009, but what about now ? The carb jets I ordered and paid for almost two months ago still have not shipped, even though I received a tracking number over a month ago. I've emailed several times with no response. Ended up buying my parts directly through Mikuni and they were here in a week. I'm now going through the process of having the charges reversed. Owner should be ashamed of himself.

Difficult Personal Situation Created Customer Panic
#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

I just noticed this post on Google.
Last year was a difficult year for Motorcyclecarbs.com. A myriad of personal issues with the family of the owners created a unique situation that made it impossible for the company to communicate with the customers.
THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED WITH ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS CONCERNED.
Anytime there is an issue and I am involved I do my earnest best within my ability to instill integrity and confidence in who ever is concerned.
If anyone has an issue with me they have our email. We are not always able to repspond in a timely manner but we do our best. If you don't get a reply in an acceptable amount of time, inquire again. Please understand that we get hundreds of emails a day from the world over.
Sincerely,
Robert Reil
