After seeing someone else write up a report on the possible defective Motorola / Ford equipment relating to the proper function of the airbag(s) and antilock brakes. I myself have fallen victim of airbag(S) failing to deploy. I've also been told that the airbag was not to deploy in the type of collision i was in. My collision was at about 45-50 mph thus T-boning into another vehicle. My truck (only a week old off of the dealer's floor) was a '99 White in color Ford Ranger X-cab W/dual '2nd Generation' airbags which are supposedly slower to deploy (could they still be waiting to deploy?). I'm still wondering if I would have been safer dealing with the injuries I sustained from hitting the steering wheel like I had (bruising to the sterum, i.e...) Also to add; I was indeed wearing the seatbelt (which also left internal bruising) which did not do a very good job of holding me in place then Ever so harshly Retracting me back into the seat after coming in contact with the steering wheel. Please any constructive comments would be helpful (I do also have pictures of the vehicle and misc. airbag pieces which were sent out for Invest.)
