Bought a Motorola smartwatch got some use out of it, battery died. No big deal as you would think to get changed out. I went to numerous watch stores, computer repair, and battery stores to get changed. No stores will change out this battery due to damaging the watch. The retailers directed me to contact motorola direct. I contact motorola using chat, the chat operators sound like they are from overseas and handle customer service and warranties by script with broken english. The reps kept asking me for the serial number which I had provided, then they ask me to locate the receipt to show proof of purchase.

All I asked was what stores will change the battery which I was totally willing to pay for, I even told motorola I would pay them to change out. This back and forth exchange of conversation lasted over months. I could not find the receipt until I recently moved. I scanned the receipt and send pictures of the watch as instructed by motorola. The rep responds with "we no longer support this watch since it's discontinued". I emailed Rudi Kalil and Rogerio Fragale both who are high level execs at motorola only to receive undeliverable emails (waste of time and effort again). I get a call on 2/26/2019 @ 5:20am from a rep, I have to again explain my situation, then I get transferred to warranty department who tells me "sorry nothing we can do for you, the watch is discontinued". The warranty department says "you can buy another motorola watch for $500 and I can give you 10% off”.

This is a complete joke… I feel like I totally got scammed.

DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THESE PEOPLE, I KNOW I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER MOTOROLA PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.
