I purchased an audi A4 engine from "we have engines" on ebay. They made me pay a $250 non refundable shipping fee and a $495 core charge which would be reimbursed once my old engine was returned to them.
My mechanic of 15 years let them know that my old engine was able to be rebuilt and Arley Leghorn let me know on 6/4 that I would receive my credit for the engine on 6/8. I have not received the credit and my calls are not being returned.
They cost me over $700 dollars in car rental fees due to an error in shipping that they acknowleged that they were in error, and it took over two months for me to get the correct engine. I have my phone conversation taped with him telling me it was their fault.
Once the engine was installed, my mechanic realized that the engine is now burning oil and is blaming the faulty engine that I paid $2500. I currently cannot drive my car even after buying a new engine. If we are not atleast reimbursed the $495 core charge. I will have to seek legal action.
Please let me know what I can do in this situation. This is Arley's 3rd Ripoff Report case. He would not give me his last name when I started this transaction, but I found it and learned of his fraudulent behavior through internet research. What are my options? I am out $3890 total from this transaction.

I would like to retract my earlier statement . We have engines is complying and working with me to make things right. I would recommend this company to anyone in search of a new engine. Arley is great to work with and I would love to do business with them again. They are fast acting in getting problems solved and are worth every penny they charge. Thanks We have Engines!! Its been a pleasure
