If you haul freight do not haul for this company. They write bad checks. They do not answer their phones and when they do the same person, Michelle Brown, acts as if she is 10 different people but never Michelle Brown. Sometimes she is Shelly, or Laurie, or someone else just to avoid giving you a straight answer to your question. Of course, this is only after she has received the shipment that you have hauled for them. 

They have given us 4 bad checks already and then have the nerve to tell us that it is OUR fault that the checks bounce as we are supposed to let them know when we will deposit their check. Beware and do not haul for them. They have done this to many people but it is time that it stops. I only found out that they rip freight deliveres off after I had delivered for them. I wish I had found out sooner.

Here is to hoping that they do not do this to anyone else.

The date indicated is the date estimated by the "BILL PAY SYSTEM" to arrive to you.   MG RHINO INC. *Mountain Stone $1371.00 Check Number: 5012 10/16/2015 JQT3W-QMZDB Pending Memo: IN FULL ACCORD & SATISFACTION 2ND: With regards to other people writing about us, so far you are the only one we see who has any business with Mountain Stone Gravel. We have been confused with another company called SMG Corporation but WE ARE NOT THE SAME COMPANY! 3RD: We DID NOT WRITE YOU A CHECK WITH NO FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT. We had a customers check return against our account that caused a domino effect. This was explained to you in great detail. 4TH: You promised not to re-deposit checks but you did anyways. Because of your actions we paid bank fees on top of bank fees that were not necessary. 5TH: The emails you provide PROVE THAT WE WERE ASKING YOU ABOUT DEPOSITING THE CHECKS. You were cleared to redeposit eventually but you were to let us know. YOU DID NOT LET US KNOW. YOU JUST DID IT. Bottom line here is miscommunication on the part of Manny. We tried to do the right thing. Manny did not communicate with us as we asked. Manny did not do as he promised. So Manny has assisted in causing this problem. Make sure you let everyone know when you receive your final payment Manny. You have a GREAT day as well!

So here is the thing: We are not the only ones that you have done this to. LOOK at post from exactly 1 year ago by RW ROGERS & ASSOC. It is the exact same story with a very convenient response from YOU, Michelle Brown, Shelly, Lauri, or whoever you are today. I am sure there are others who will get angry enough to post here the very same story I have posted. How long do you believe that blaming someone else for your lack of ethical behavior will keep you in business? So you can blame me for YOU not paying me all you want, convince yourself of your own lies, I am sure that is the only way your conscious lets you sleep at night.

Just a thought: Who pays someone with a check with no funds in the account if not with the intent to defraud that person?

Look at your responses to my emails: This is your PROOF in your words of your good faith to pay me?

Yes I redeposited the check on the 20th believing in your promise that it was ok to deposit the check. My apologies for waiting 7 days to redeposit a check that you made out to me since by that time your bank account was empty again.

Please tell me how it is my fault that you don’t have any funds in YOUR bank account to cover a payment that you know you owe me with a check you have already given me. How do you not know that when you write a check, your bank account has to have enough money to cover said check? Honestly I am very confused on this point.

Bottom line is: I will not take back or erase what I have stated here. I may lose the $1,371.00, and all the fees I have incurred, since it looks like YOU will not pay me and have absolutely no good intentions of doing so. You stated on here “The funds have been sent out to your Orlando address and we ask that you delete this negative BS from the site.” You wrote that on September 07, it is now the 23rd  and still no payment received. I am sorry but it does not take USPS 16 days to deliver mail from Vero Beach, FL to Orlando, FL.  

It looks like you are far too busy blaming others for YOUR lack of ethics to do the right thing. But just like the famous quote: “Time is the overseer of Everything” I will let time tell the TRUTH.

Manny has posted a negative review about our company.

Yes the original check that was written to Manny was returned due to NSF however it was because a customer of ours had their check returned NSF.

Manny promised he would not redeposit the check so we issued him a new check that was postdated as he requested the check immediately and promised not to deposit it until we cleared hip im to do so.

Manny did not wait to deposit the post dated check so it was returned because he was not cleared to deposit it.

Manny then re-deposited each check again without our knowledge so the checks were returned.

We were only notified of this last week and have every intention of making the check good.

Lessons Learned on our part:

1). Don't issue post dated checks. 

2)  Don't trust people to do what they say and check with you before depositing a check once it has left your hand because when it comes to money people will do what they need to do no matter what the repercussions are to the other party.

3). Don't replace a check without putting a stop payment on the original check because people can read deposit a check up to three times once it has been returned if a stop payment has not been placed.

Manny, you would be better served to stop threatening us and acknowledge ithe fact that you did deposit a check without clearing it from the office even though we have emails to prove that you said you would.  In fact we have emails to prove that you never checked with us at all but we checked with you to say, "hey when are you planning to deposit the check?"  Your response was, "I did that last week."

that was our deal and you did not do as you agreed so yes it is your fault.
