Invested with maurice matte years ago and lost big time! He lied about MER cost! Lied about quality of funds! Sold funds then blamed the transaction on me! The last two months i was with him i lost an additional $80000.00 BUT HE WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT SELLING HIS DADS CAR TO ME THAN MY LOSS!Got a new advisor but maurice would not sit down with him to explain himself so went to his boss for a meeting but he refused the meeting too but sent up a note saying he will charge me with harassment.So i wrote him a letter but no reply so went to see him and he saw me coming and i was met by the police when they left i asked about the letter and he said { quote} My wife and i read your letter and i showed it to all my staff at my office and we ALL had a good LAUGH!! IN my letter i told him of all the things we have done for him and his family and how we treated their kids like our own grandkids so why would you do this to us?? I"m surprised your wife did not stop you from doing this I guess she is spineless or just as corrupt as you!!You said to me once [QUOTE] You shouldnt have that much money for your education and i"m surprised someone has not taken it away from you < so you did! I would like to know where you find the humor in my letter being such a reputable advisor?

We are legal counsel for Maurice Matte and M.J. Matte & Associates Inc. Our client commenced litigation with respect to Report #575413 in the British Columbia Supreme Court under action number 128865 in the court registry located in Kelowna, British Columbia. The court found Report #575413 to be defamatory.
On June 27, 2022, the court pronounced an order that rendered judgment in our clients’ favour and ordered the following injunction: “The defendants, Roger De Pellegrin and Barbara De Pellegrin, and other persons with knowledge of this Order, wherever they are located in the world, are restrained from publishing on the internet or in any other manner, statements directly or indirectly about the plaintiff, M.J. Matte & Associates and Maurice Matte, that are identical to or of similar effect as the publications contained in Schedule “A” attached to this Order.”
