Movado Watch Company ripoff Want more money to replace a watch band than it's worth. Nationwide
I have a $1,000 Movado watch that the gold finish is wearing off of. The three year guarentee just expired a few months ago. I took it to my jewelers and they sent it to Movado and a month later, the jewelers called and said Movado wants $800.00 to replace the band. Told them to forget it. Obviously I could buy a new watch with an additional $200.00 and have another three year warranty. I didn't realize the band was worth four times the price of the actual movement.. If the band cost so much, why does the finish wear off in three years??
