Complaint Review: Move corp. uk

From France to Australia- broken, broken, broken! I was really happy with the pre-removal service I received. I was very, very unhappy with the arrival of my goods! 2 Antique chairs, wrapped By Movecorp and so covered by their insurance for breakage arrived with legs snapped clean off the body and arm rest also! The cardboard boxes each had their corners ripped open by the shear weight placed on top of them or by throwing them from a great height along with my chairs!

When it came to claiming insurance, it was a long wait and finally they will pay only the value I had listed as a replacement cost of one chair ($350) not the cost it will incur to have a professional antique chair repair person repair the chairs to original condition! ($1990). Beware- put a much higher value on the items you ship and be prepared to loose a lot of ceramics to breakage - I also lost 13 ceramics pieces dearly collected from 8 yrs of living in Europe!
