Estimated cost of move was $1,500 for 3,000 pounds in 5 to 7 day delivery. Isaac and helper loaded truck and offered next day delivery for an extra $500. I paid them the $500 due for loading plus $300 of the 500 extra. Next day we rode to scale and truck weight was 11,000 pounds with my belongings inside.

Immediately, Isaac said I owed more money as I had 6,000 pounds of stuff. He said I must pay him $2000 for the extra weight BEFORE they would empty the truck. We went to a bank and I paid him the money with a promise of a receipt after we weighed the truck empty and he would give any excess payment back then. After truck was loaded, we went to a scale and he had the truck weighed THREE TIMES before he was happy with the weight of 5,000 pounds! The first weight was 7,700 pounds so I think that was the honest weight. I later found out that the truck weighs about 8,000 empty from the Budget Rental company. I NEVER got a receipt!

I called Move it Forward and they gave me the run around for a week. Now they SAY that they will refund the $435 I paid them on my credit card and Isaac will send me $1000 back. Isaac's phone no longer is connected, but I found a company address for Voyager Van Lines in Pittsburgh.

1150 Banksville Road, Pittsburgh, Pa 15216. I believe his full name is Isaac Zait, but that could be an alias. He said that he frequents bars in that area when in Pittsburgh. He also is working out of Newark, New Jersey.

Hi - Has this been resolved?  I ask because this man has moved into the house where I live here in NJ and these complaints raise many questions about his character.   His defense is that he does at least 700 moves per year, has been doing it for 15 years and has only these 3-5 complaints against him...a pretty good record.

He also said that if there are any outstanding issues, he wants to address them and get them resolved.  He's even given me permission to contact all those with complaints in order to get a better understanding of these issues.  So.  If you want to get resolution to this issue, email me at  jumpfree11@gmail.com to discuss.  Thankyou.
