We at North Bay North American were taken for fools when MoveConnect offered to begin sending us leads in exchange for $200. We sat on the phone with a "representative" of MoveConnect for an hour and a half getting "trained" to use the web site and the estimate program.

Nothing seemed suspicious, and he seemed very passionate about scams in the moving industry. He said he would get back to us in about a week or so to set up our user-names and passwords for the estimate program.

It has now been a couple of months, and we have recieved 2 leads with not nearly enough information to return a quote. As well as no returned phone call regarding our user-names and passwords. Now the MoveConnect.com website is no where to be found!!!

For all the moving companies out there - Do not register to recieve leads from MoveConnect.com!

I am a sales rep for a large mover in Ohio. The owner of my company received a call from someone from moveconnect last year around February. He asked me to investigate it so I thought I had done my homework.

There was the $200 set-up fee and we paid I believe $750 to secure our spot. I got the runaround for months as to why I wasn't getting any leads and they kept saying it will be "live" anyday now.

After a few months, I called to cancel and ended up getting my $750 back, but never received our "set-up" fee.

I have never heard from the company again!

Great advice, stay away from this company!
