Complaint Review: MOVERS INCORP

I ws given emailed $425.00 estimate by Craig aka Kyke Santos from MyOwnMovers.com  to move furniture from house to 1BR apt. Sounded great-- 4 guys and truck at $85/hour. So 4 guys showed up, 2 were okay but other 2 wiggers. "Phil" self described foreman, with 3 young guys. Phil made me sign 15 page contract before we started.  He made it clear that "packing materials were extra". (Phil  did not warn me that each cardboard box was $200.) My stuff was already packed except for 4 cardboard boxes of Phil's -- which added $800 to bill right off the top. Phil refused to move all my mirrors and framed paintings. I had to transport them in my vehicle. AFTER he has all my stuff in his truck he presents me with bill for $1800, stating overtime and packing materials. I called "Kyle" to see what was going on and he said he was doing me a favor to charge only $100 per cardboard box, thereby lowering bill $400 to $1200. Said he would hold my stuff hostage and charge me for storage if I didn't pay up. I gathered $1170 cash and he gave me receipt. So they resume work and tracked mud into new carpet in apartment and denied it, they broke table leg off, denied it, broke We are not done yet! It was agreed days prior that for $60 they would move unwanted items to dump. But now Phil wants ANOTHER 2 hours at $85 per PLUS the $60 to go to dump = $230. I called cops and they got my $60 back from Phil.  My 72 year old mother and I had to manage disposal ourselves. Cops ran warrant checks on all 4 of them and Phil's wigger sidekick --- last name of Monahan-- had suspended license for DWI.  Disgusting experience. Should be imprisoned and fined. Beware.
