Movieland caused system problems, no customer service, unable to delete their program, virus Internet
I downloaded their program, which didn't work. I was not able to cancel during the three day trial. Had pop ups on my computer everytime you change between programs that would take over the whole computer and not allow you to cancel or stop it.
To remove the program I had to reseach on the web hundereds of different complaints about movieland. Had to delete program files off the computer which lead to important program files of windows xp being deleted. I then had to phone windows custmer support to reload windows xp. Also had to reload sound drives, internet drivers. To me anything that cause that much damage to a system might as well be called a virus!!! Movieland should be charged with international laws, they should be removed from any buisness that they are associated with and should have to pay for any damages that they have cost people or buisnesses.

Karl,
You got infected with adware and spyware, and possibly a virus.
Don't ever get on the internet without the proper security protection.
You sound very unfamiliar with the basics of computers and should take advantage of some support workshops offered by various companies and even community colleges.
You can prevent most intrusions by just setting the security settings within windows. This is a good start.
