Moviepass They sold me "memberships” that have ridiculous stipulations.

Hi so I name from movie pass memberships online. So I looked over the website and it appeared to be a good deal where they tell you you can see three movies a month. I ordered the movie passes December 1 or around the 11th I’m not sure. But I am sure is that at the bottom of the email I received is that I will receive my passes by December 24.

I don’t receive my passes until mid January. Then, every time I try to go see a movie there are never movies available at any of the movie theaters in my location. There was never anything sent to me telling me that there were only certain movies in certain times or any stipulation to when I could see three movies a month to date I have still not been able to see a movie.

I went online today on their app and the only movie available at three locations was The Prodigy, it’s a scary movie. Not interested and I shouldn’t be forced to see movies I don’t like. I tried to cancel this membership before and was told there was no refund but this clearly a scam of some sort. You can never speak to anyone on the phone, there is no live chat, and I have to wait for an email response back when I do click on the icon that looks like a live chat option.
