Moving Squad Inc. Ruined & Missing Furniture From Move, 9 MONTHS TO GET CHECK FOR $100+CHANGE FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF DAMAGED/MISSING GOODS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Pompano Beach, Florida
I moved in June, 2012 and used The Moving Squad. I was assured they were reliable and I wouldn't need the extra insurance which was very expensive. Upon receiving my goods, two large boxes were missing, cocktail table was missing and my expensive white couch (which they were responsible for wrapping to protect) was ruined. Absolutely do not consider using this company. When I filed a claim they paid me their required .60-cents per pound, with no consideration for the claim. I filed the claim in June, 2012, and I received the small check yesterday (March 5, 2013). I was required to sign and get notarized a statement before they would even send that small remittance, saying I was completely satisfied and there would be no further action by me against them.
While it appears I won't receive compensation for my furnishings, at least maybe I can help someone else from going through this same ordeal.
The Moving Squad...do not use this company.
