Complaint Review: Moving U 4 Less

We were getting ready to move from CA to PA. We found Moving U4 less on the internet and decided to go with them due to their cheap rates and "professional" employees. We were quoted a little over $3,000 and after inventory was made it was raised to 3,400, and were told that the company took care of all the packing and we get 30 free large boxes free of charge. Moving day came and we came to find out that we were being charged extra for them having to pack all of our belongings.

After the truck was loaded our final price was given; a total of $8,999! A delivery date was given and we all went on our way.

Five days after the due delivery date my belongings arrived at my house. I was told i owed $7,350 before they would unload my belongings. I had no problem writing them a check when i was told that they don't accept anything but a cashiers check, money order or cash.

After long discussion, we offered the movers the full amount of the unpaid balance in cash, as long as they could wait 30 min. for us to run to the bank. The movers were told by Ben, their boss, to leave. They left with my belongings still in their truck and i have yet to receive them. It is now almost 2 weeks past my delivery date.
