Plain And Simple (only the facts thats at)


Contacted Paradise Pools & Spas in December to give me a quote on a swimming pool and a seperate hot tub, the sales representative gave me a qoute of $45,000,  warranty was for 1 (one) year on workmanship.

Anyways was ready to sign with them until I asked them for proper documentation (insurance and workmans comp) 

Paradise Pools had it however the sub-contractor doing the excavation for the pool couldn't get the clearance I told the sales man from Paradise Pools his name is Pat Carlucci and I quote " I am sorry Pat but I am not letting anyone on my property without proper documentation" he got really upset and told me and I quote "I hope you didn't make me waste my time" that was the final straw that broke the camel.

I told him I am sorry you wasted 1 hour and almost got $45,000.00 from me.


I finally decided to contact another company cost me $5,000.00 more but got better equipment and a five (5) year warranty on workman ship and proper documention that I verified.

Dear Consumers,
 
We at MP Paradise Pools and Spas have been in business for over twenty five years and pride ourselves in quality, experience, and customer satisfaction on all contracts. Our company has always followed all guidelines and building codes when we are contracted for any work, including proper insurance for the safety of our workers and customers. We have always conducted ourselves in the utmost professional manner and would never dismiss anyones concerns regarding safety or liability. We would also never discuss company problems with any client and can assure you this customer is mistaken when he suggests we let our insurance lapse or neglected to pay it. We give full disclosure with all our clients and have the proper documents for our customers to view on request.
 
We do however subcontract work from other companies for excavation purposes and we agree it was an oversight on our part when this company failed to produce the proper documents for WSIB. We however did not use this company or start any work project with this company on the said clients property, nor would we. We were in the process of finding a solution for this company. Due to this there would be a delay on starting this project and when the customer asked why, we were up front about the situation.
 
We feel full disclosure was given to this customer but unfortunately he didnt like the fact there would be a delay because of the problem. We fully understand why this customer was upset but we tried to work it out so all parties involved would have the best end results.
