Dear Chip:

I realize that you have a business to run and that you need to make a living, but felt you should be made aware of the fact that the questionable and destructive work your former Shop Manager, Mr. Oscar Gonzalez did to my 1985 Ford C/S Ltd. Wagon, now is beginning to show problems, oil leaks like a sieve as soon as I get on a highway, from what appeared to be the new oil pan that was installed at your garage, some transmission fluid leaked, and it has only been (21) twenty one months approximately since the work was completed on November 17, 2010, regarding Estimate #3263.

That work was not possibly acceptable!!!  There were no possibles about that.  None.  Also the hex head bolt on the front of the oil pan, along with the hex head bolt on bottom of the pan, was partially (stripped) chipped off on its edges with what appeared to be a chisel or chisel-like device, so that it was extremely difficult to get a box-end wrench around either of them because they were partially stripped and obviously worked over to prevent a mechanic or anyone from servicing them normally!  Did Mr. Oscar Gonzalez gang up with other gangs to engineer these faux pas (mistakes)?

What really aggravates me was that Mr. Oscar Gonzalez took great pride in telling your customers, what an extremely high standard of work and quality control that your firm maintained in repairing its customers vehicles, yet the work he was responsible for is essentially now ancient history, when it came to holding up well!!  Especially agonizing is when he observed the original receipt that I maintained to the past H20 pump and timing belt that was installed near 6-7 years ago, though there is a slight leak over the top of the pump which leaks onto the manifold, it still passed current inspection. .
The work was completed previously by an experienced master mechanic named Ron.  I know his brother Bill well and the work was excellent.  Mr. Oscar claimed that there was entirely too much mastic used on the gaskets and that caused the gasket to disintegrate when gas, water or antifreeze got on it.  But your employees work, which was far more expensive to my vehicle, lasted just barely beyond your 12 month / 12,000 Mile Warranty period, and then the vehicle leaked oil.  That is just not acceptable!  His work was definitely questionable and needs examining.  It is your call now to examine otherwise and make a professional decision or face continuing scrutinization &notariety.

You personally told me that unfortunately, you were taken severe advantage of a by a particular former individual that worked there with you.  His name was Mr. Casey.  He seemed to have taken a lot of your business customers and disappeared!  The reality of my issue is that Mr. Oscar not only delivered on questionable to very shoddy quality control, workmanship, did not take any pride in the work, and results that showed up on my vehicle, after I paid you well over $1,000.00 are very obvious.  In essence, your employee bludgeoned my image of the caliber of workmanship that you and he took pride in telling your customers that he was the most reliable standard at your NAPA AutoCareCenter. The work should have lasted many years, according to what Mr. Oscar told me, then he disappeared from your garage and you left me holding the bag just after your national warranty was caput/over.  Reliable Standard (Bullsh*t)!!!

That smells like an organized scam and needs investigating, immediately!  This does not even mention the $5.50/qts of oil lost, due to the leakage, since!  If I were you, Id immediately take a look at the wagon and make your own judgment.  Do not just believe me what I am telling you here?  I have an appointment to have my wagon looked at today with another repair shop on your auto repair complex.  What do you think that they will say when they see your invoice, oil pan bolt(s) damaged, and observe the oil leak?  Also the oil filter and thermostat housing were found to be not tightened up correctly and losing oil and antifreeze.  I believe that you should contact Mr. Oscar and get him to come over and examine the vehicle now.  He is possibly ruining your customers and walking on your good reputation as your former Shop Manager!  Also Im out $100.00s in lost antifreeze and oil!  Do you plan to replace them too?

Do you realize that if other customers find out about the kind of questionable to shoddy work he completed and was responsible for with you that he might have to come to court eventually to talk about some of his former problems and as to why they happened?  I have not seen Casey, since he left but if he sees the damage that Mr. Oscar created, I wonder what he will say?  Just thought you should know what transpired?  Also Mr. Oscar was so concerned with informing me of the free things that he did for me to my vehicle from that specifically mentioned job that he left absolutely no room to include an oil pump, after all that work was done, and now you can see what it led to, possibly from his questionable conversations and work?  Was it really worth it?

Your firms good reputation is at stake and is being thoroughly run in the ground and tromped on, on the way to the slaughter house!  Finally, when I stopped by your NAPA AutoCare Center, the same day that a competitor of yours examined my vehicle, you even personally mentioned that you wished that you were never introduced to Mr. Oscar and that he should never have worked inside your automobile repair center!
Please Remember:  Chip Healey had to approve anything that his shop manager, Oscar Gonzalez, completed in Mr. Healeys repair shop to get paid.  Chip Healey knew exactly what Mr. Oscar was doing all the way down to his shop work and cashed paychecks!

I hope this will help to open your eyes to what is coming down from him and his past work and how it could also be affecting your business?  By now, you should know what I mean?  I hope for your sake you do!

You should have been able to decide if Mr.Oscars auto repair work was worthwhile or was it truly a sham and a study in futility?  Your employee originally steamed my engine and transmission and now its a complete, grundgy mess again.  If I were you, Id be interested to find out what is (the f**k is) going on and solve my problems, immediately!  Thank you.  Mr. Healey, you are a lazy, no good, lying and conspiracy, sorry, G-d forsaken, son-of-a b*tch, and you and your white supremacist-bred/minority-led bigoted auto repair business are going to burn in a fiery hell before any/all of this is ever over!  Your garage is going to make the former government massacre at Mount Carmel Center that involved the former murders of 83 Branch Davidians look like an inflamed match box!!!

Sincerely,

Former Dissatisfied/Outraged/Destroyed 1985 Ford Chips Auto Repair Customer

p.s. just for your information, there is another highly questionable electrical-based starter harness repair job ($300.00 plus) that was completed just before my wagon was brought in to your repair shop for the subject work to be completed.  It also turned out to be defective!  Do you think that it was just coincidental that the subject repair shop that was considered to be one of the most reputable in Dallas, Texas, was located supposedly in the direct to immediate possible vicinity of where very possibly your former employee, Mr. Oscar, according to one of your present mechanics, is reputed to be working today?

Since the defective work is under a two (2) year statute of limitations for reporting in complaints associated with automotive repair-related liability in Texas to the Office of the Attorney General, do you think that that former repair may also be possibly mimicking the same kind of possible abuse, indirectly that was inflicted on my 1985 Ford Wagon, and is there any kind of a possibly questionable relationship from that repair job, compared to the one here now, even though both jobs were done in completely separate unrelated business locations but also of which both left my wagon severely in disrepair???  Incidentally, the other subject location was only approximately7.0 miles (15 minutes) away from your business!  Too close for comfort!

Finally, do you think that there was any other unknown coincidence in the fact that possibly the owner of the electrical repair shop, and your former employee are both the same possible ethnicity???  Mind you, no specific names are being mentioned here.  By the way, the two (2) ASE Certified Mechanics that worked on my wagon at what some folks call and describe as a possible energy guys repair shop were also the same possible ethnicity as the latter two men described in this letter, possibly!!!  Was it just coincidental that those latter mechanics referred me to that subject shop, only to
Complaint Letter #1Chips Auto RepairNAPA AutoCare Center Page three of four eventually find that that auto electrician supposedly did a professional repair job, still leaving a defect to strand me on the side of the road?  Let my conscience be your guide.  Perhaps it is time that the interested viewership, out there, had an opportunity to examine and also professionally formulate their own opinions as to what had been going on here and not be kept in the DARK any longer, when it came to the highly questionable to shady, and dishonest, dealings of Mr. Oscar and some of his possibly unknown automobile contacts and connections.

Incidentally, the ball joint with a grease fitting below the undercarriage of the vehicle, closest to the left side of the oil pan is now lightly (slightly) dripping transmission down on the aforementioned item.  So, now the wagon appeared to have not only oil leaks, severe abuse to both hex head bolts on the bottom and front of the oil pan but also now a trans leak that means that there are both oil and transmission fluid leak problems.

It will be interesting to see what you will have to say and think about all of the callous, vicious, and malicious abuse that was not only manufactured here but also reaped up deliberately on my wagon.  Time is a wasting.  Ill send you another letter and allow you to rightfully make your decision.  The bottom line:  I paid my money, took my chances to see if you and your NAPA AutoCare Center were going to reasonably and respectfully work on my wagon and that did not seem to be the normal, rightful case.  It is my suggestion that you shore up some lost ends get interested, while you still have the opportunity to correct the past problems, and project carefully into the future to make up for my lost time and valuable funds, and get the corrective show on the road for my wagon.  Thank you.

Sincerely,
Dissatisfied/Outraged / Chips Auto Repair NAPA AutoCare Center Customer
