Mr. Powers is currently the principle at Tupper Lake High School. Most of the kids dont even know who he is or that there is a principle because he never introduced himself at the beggining of the year. He waited till midyear and gave a short speech during an assembly and the kids where all baffaled as to who he was, even then he didn't tell them that he was the principle.

When Mr. Alioto was principle he introduced himself at the beggining of the year and said hi to all the students walking by. Mr. Powers doesnt even do the punishing at the school. All the kids who get in trouble have to go see Mr. Tebo. I just wanted to let you know how most of the kids feel about there new principle.

Rebuttal:

I AM FORMER ALUMNI OF TLHS. I DONT BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE IS QUESTIONING THE FAIRNESS OF THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT THIS SCHOOL. I LETTERED IN FOOTBALL AND ON THE TRACK TEAM. THE COACHES WRERE AND I'M SURE STILL ARE VERY FAIR IN SELECTION OF TEAM PLAYERS. WE EVEN HAD A PLAYER WITH WHAT SOME WOULD CONSIDER A DISABILITY. IT DID NOT HOWEVER DISASBLE HIM FROM PRACTICING OR PLAYING FOOTBALL WITH THE REST OF US. SO BEFORE YOU CONSIDER CRYING UNFAIR YOU SHOULD CHECK AND SEE IF WHOEVER YOU KNOW THAT WASN'T PICKED FOR THE TEAM REALLY TRIED OR SHOWED THE DEDICATION OR SPORTSMANSHIP THAT IS LOOKED FOR IN A "TEAMMATE"

Can't the principle do something about the selective system with our sports. Someone ask our school principle why only certain people get to play sports. Why should it be like a political appointment? It's more like, who you know rather than who is more qualified at the sport.

The principle may not do much, but he ain't such a bad guy. He can't help it he's powerless. I guess.
