I Called these Thieves for a noise that was coming from the pipes...after 3 minutes the Plumber found the problem and charged me $138 for the 5 minuets work.....After a tour of the house he said we needed a new Hot Water Heater which he quoted $1400 complete with labor....After his "assistant" started the work 3 hours later he pulls out 5 pages of misc. items totaling over $3000 with OUTRAGOUS prices.....For example $250 for a Hot Water Cooler Stand which sells at Home Depot for 49.00.....After researching these Thieves I see that is the way Mr Rooter Ripoff does business......They will do the work same day so you cant research and see how much they are Robbing you.......These Guys are Crooks, Thieves and Criminals and you should avoid them at all costs.....They also did a bait and switch on the water cooler not installing the one shown to me at 1,400 bucks.....I could go into more but I would get the Plumber fired if I told his boss what else went on.....

In response to the review regarding our services;
We were called out to locate the source of a "bad noise coming from the kitchen pipe". We quoted a diagnosis fee. The gentleman authorized the fee with initials and signature and we went about tracking the source of the noise. We found the source and corrected the issue.
As a part of our service we do a complete plumbing safety check of the entire house (this is not a tour as stated in the review). We discovered his water heater was in serious need of replacement, quoted him a price to replace the heater and install the required expansion tank got his signature and initials approving the price and then showed him he could save money by joining our Advantage Plan. The total of the above charges came to $1443.23. This is what he is referring to as the $1400 water heater.
The balance of his bill (his reference to "over $3,000") was for additional services including removal and disposal of an existing solar water heater system, removal of all piping related to the solar system, reconfiguration of the discharge line off temperature and pressure relief valve, repiping of copper water lines to accommodate new water heater system, and a host of other parts and labor required to change it from a solar heated water heater to electric. The water heater stand referred to in the review was quoted at $186.29 for stand and installation (not $250 as he states). This customer gave both verbal and written approval at each and every step of the way, paid for the services with a check, and then put a stop payment on the check before the technician ever made it back to the shop.
Management called him to find out why he stopped payment, offered to take off the diagnostic charge, and then was told by the customer he would only pay $2500. When told this was unacceptable the customer stated he hoped the manager dies of cancer and then hung up. The non-payment of these services is being looked into by the local police department at the request of Mr. Rooter. Quite a different story once all the facts are offered.
