On February 1 and 2, 2011, I received two telephone calls from an unknown caller.  Phone call #1 dated 2-1-2011 at 12:25 P.M. left a threatening message on the telephone stating that his name was Mr. William Smith and he told me (quote) you better call me at 661-347-6108 by today and if I do not hear from you, good luck.  (unquote) On 2/2/2011 I received another call from the same unknown caller and this time the person stated that his name was Mr. Lance Nelson and he said that he was an attorney and he stated that a criminal affidavit had been filed against me because I allegedly owed Advance America/Cash Advance well over $300.00 which had not been paid and he also alleged that some bad checks were written via eft from my bank account which was false.

I tracked the telephone number and it is an unpublished number from Santa Clarita, CA.  It should be noted that these two crooks had a foreign accent and they sounded like they were from the Philippines.  I contacted my attorney(s) pertaining to this matter and at their advice, I have filed a complaint against the two oersons with the Federal Trade Commission(FTC) and my local state Attorney General's Office/Consumer Complaint Department for Identity Theft and Consumer Fraud.  The two crooks obtained one of my email addresses, mailing address, social security number, and place of employment.  An investigation is in process and I hope that these two low lifes will be brought to justice.
