In 2011, we asked for help from The MRA group in obtaining a home loan modification.  Spoke to Mr. Pablo Rodriguez and was assured that they could help.  We submitted financial information along with a check for $2,550.00 to MRA Group.  The check was endorsed via personal signature by Pablo Rodriguez not by a company.

Inspite of numerous phone calls, e-mails and letters there was no help given by MRA to obtain a home loan modification.  We hired an attorney and over the course of a year, we were able to get a modification on our own, but incurred attorney fees to do this.

Throughout 2012, we made repeated attempts to contact MRA to get our money back and on the one occasion in September 2012 when someone actually answered the phone, we were told that their accounting dept. had our information and would be getting our money back to us.  Since then, there has been no response from MRA to either letters, e-mails or phone calls.

We also filed a complaint with the California Division of Financial Institutions,  and the California Better Business Bureau.

At this point, we don't have the financial resources to bring a lawsuit, but would certainly not want any one else to be caught up in this scam.  They are preying on desparate people who want to save their homes.
