Complaint Review: Mrechant Credit Guide

I have been getting compuritized phone calls telling me to call "Kevin Hughes" for important information. This has been going on for about a month. Well, I finally did and got an nameless "service rep"(?). I didn't get very far as he became very rude when it was clear that I was reluctant to give him any information about myself. He was quite hesitant in identifying his company and never identified himself. But I did manage to find out it was "Merchant Credit Guide". What are they up to?
