I am a user of MrLandlord, I don't work for them nor do I get any compensation from them.
it is not easy to get the "free" online criminal reports that the OP is talking about. I spent an hour and got nada zip. That hour could be spent letting MrLandlord do the work of contacting the correct agencies and finding the data. Look it up on Wikipedia, you'll find that getting criminal reports While supposedly free will spin your head and cost you many hours.
My time is worth the $29.95 charged. I am a professional and I own two rental properties. I don't have the time to visit 50 states' criminal records departments nor do I have access to the federal database.
If someone has a free and easy way to get this info for less than $30, let us know!
