I
am a homeless single dad of a bereaved child, scammed for all my money
by MTC trucking driving school in the dead of winter. The death of our
child's mother on Christmas 2008 brought us back to St Louis in
February 2009. It's been one struggle after another. On December 11th,
2009 MTC recruiter Casey Jernigan text me a message from her private
cell phone stating she will call me at 4:30,
and she can't talk from work phone. Casey
called around that time and promised me a hotel for 2 weeks while I was
In training. Casey is a Dr Zhivegas fan and admires their lead singer
Frankie. Well it so happens this is how I earned my 250.00 enrollment
fee though Frankie and by working a few Dr Zhivegas shows. Frankie
thought it was so kind of her to
provide me shelter while in training that Frankie made certain to show
up in person to meet and greet Casey and to pay my enrollment fee of
250.00 at the start of school on December 14th, 2009. Frankie even gave
her autograph CD's for his appreciation for helping his friend at such
hard and brutal times. As soon as Frankie left, Casey took me took a
nearby
office telling me very bad news that she can't get me the hotel room
like
she promised. I made it clear to Casey from the get go that I did not
want to go to truck driving school
unless there was lodging. The very next day on December 15th, 2009 I addressed
the school with the issue with a woman by the name of Joan. Showed her the
text message from Casey. All she did was confront me and asked me the
last time I had a shower, which was less than 24 hours. She then asked
me again when I had a shower before that time. She said I couldn't
continue going to school being homeless and that I must have a shower daily.
They refuse to refund my only 250.00. I did file a complaint with the
attorney general. I also learned that there are numerous complaints
against them. Can
anyone help recover my money that could help me get out of this
homeless situation? It is very cold out here. I'm living in my van. I
desperately need this money to transfer my Florida commercial drivers license to Missouri's to find work, to provide for my son. We are still trying to learn to cope with the death of my son's mom. (((REDACTED))) Thank You, God Bless,
Ricky
