Complaint Review: MTD - Cub Cadet

If you buy equipment made by MTD they may refuse to honor warranties. In at least one case they attempted to sell used-for-new. No statement of origin, no original documents, no effort to communicate or right the wrong. MTD Products have several brand names like Yard Machines, Bolens, Cub Cadet and others. Don't trust their independent dealers too far either. My product was delivered with obvious and serious damage.

Absurd really. They insisted it was new, but actual manufacture date was revealed after serial number search. Buyer beware: You will need a lawyer to get these people to take you seriously, and then they will deny accountability and refuse to cover fees made necessary by their own indifference. These represent fundamentally bad corporate practices that are focused on ego and only ruin consumer trust and defeat the purpose of economic resolve.
