Complaint Review: MTF Relocation

MTF came to our home and gave us their "binding estimate". They did not hold to it even though we asked numerous times if the final cost would be $4166.40. They were told upfront that we only had $5000 to spend on the move and no more. They said they could do it after seeing what they had to move. When the movers arrived there were other hidden fees no one told us about, even though we asked. They also charged us more due to the weight was over what they had estimated. When talking to one of the individuals who did the binding estimate she stated we shouldn't pay anymore due to our binding estimate. But when we talked to the movers or anyone else they stated she has no authority to tel us what we pay. We also payed an extra $300 to get it there on a specific date and they were late. I felt like they lied every time we asked a question. When the movers were over packing our stuff we signed moving papers and then they began filling in more information after they were signed. When confronted about it he said that this is how they do things. We wouldn't allow this, so he gave us another "binding" estimate of what is was going to cost us to get our stuff in the truck and packed. Every time we turned around there was another fee and someone telling us a new story.
