Complaint Review: MTS Mobile Truck Repair Service

My truck broke down in Wyoming, in looking for mobile service I found the MTS listing and phone number on the internet. When I called the local number there was no answer so I hung up, a minute later I get a call from a guy asking if I had called for road service.

I explained my issue (air leak) he told me he could have someone out in and hour but I had to pay $490 on an EFS or Comchek first before he would come out. Well, being in the trucking business for 40 years this seemed unusual to me so I told him I would call him back with an authorization code, I took a few minutes to look up some reviews and found them to be scamming truckers.

This when the guy calls me back asking for the code, so I give him a made up number to see what would happen. Within a minute he is calling me back and when I answer he proceeds to call me every name in the book, racial slurs he went so far as to call everyone in my family names.

This is nothing but a guy in his house using the internet to scam trucking companies. I'll be forwarding what happened to the FBI.
