I hired this company to remodel a kitchen and two bathrooms. The work started in May of 2013 and they "finished" in December of 2013 only after I told them to not do some of the work they were originally fired to do.

This nightmare all started in April of 2013 when one of thier sales people came to the house. the sales person was a very pleasant gentleman who seemed to know his line of work. After getting multiple bids on the job I decided to go with this company based on the sale person.

I was told by the sales person that I would be given a start date and an end date. I never recieved either one the only reason they started my job when they did is because I hounded the "project manager" via email. After the first day on the job the demo crew cut through  multiple electrical wires on accident. and busted through two walls that were not supposed to be. During the day I came home to find the demo crew, which consisted of a 40 something year old man and a 15 year old kid, using my garbage can from the garage and a 1000" spool of 12/2 romex I had as a ladder. I did not give them permission to go into my garage and use my stuff as their tools.

After the demo crew left its was two weeks before anyone came back to work on the house with the exception of the electrician to fix the wires that were cut. After talking to the electrician I was informed by him that this isn't the first time he's had to fix this type of problem.

About a month later they poured the shower pan and never made sure that the square drain in the floor was straight. Around the same time the plumber plumbed my shower with six shower heads that if all were on at once would draw 12gpm of water with 1/2" line to supply them. He also split that line to run another shower in the other bathroom.

A couple weeks later the tile guy tiled the shower pan in the master shower without ever fixing the crooked drain that he poured the pan for. Now instead of centering the tile in the shower and working his way outward so the cut tiles on the left and right side would be the same and the cut tiles on the front and back would be the same he started in one cornerand worked his way out. So I had two outside edges with full tiles and two outside edges with cut tiles. This wouldn't have looked bad however the front and left side had cut tiles and the rear and right side had full tiles. After I confronted the "project manager" about this I was told that this is industry standard and that no one ever starts tiling from the center of a room and works thier way outward. So The Tile Shop(store) and many other contractors are wrong?

So after arguing with the "project manager" and the tile guy they finaly ripped it out and started over. I was then told that the "project manager" was going to pull all his guys off my job and put them on another job and it would be a couple of weeks before any work was done on my house. Like I was being punished for question ing the work being done in MY house.

So a couple weeks later they delivered cabinets and instelled them. Some of the cabinets that were delivered were not even the correct size that was ordered according to the order slip. They decided to install the cabinets and they were in stalled three times before they were acceptable, not perfect but acceptable.

Which brings me to my next issue. I was supposed to have engineered hardwood floors installed in the kitchen. Now industry standard is you lay the floor down and then install the cabinets. Not this company they want to shim the cabinets a 1/2-3/4" off the floor and install the floor around them. So later on down the road if I decide to rearrange my kitchen again I'm stuck doign the flooring because its would be cut to my cabinets.

After I was told they would absolutely not install the floor under the cabinets I told them to uninstall the cabinets and I'll install the floor. Which I did, I understand that they don't want to potentially damage the floor after its installed but that can be easily remedied by hiring peole that actually care bout the homeowners stuff.

After many more issues that came up throughout the time of this company being in my home I finally gave them a list of things I wanted them to do and I will finish the rest of the job myself.

Upon final inspection of thier work I found many issues that I will have to live with unfortunatly. Things like A brand new tub that is scratched up because they used a ladder inside it without putting anything underneath. A $75, TOTO soft close,  toilet seat cover that is scrathed up from the tile guy using the toilet as a table to hold my tile and appearantly dragging them across the top. A scratch in a brand new vanity. The tank of the brand new toilet being loose and leaking, Ifixed it myself and told them not to install the other toilet. I also have a brand new kitchen sink that doesnt drain completely because it was intalled unlevel so water sits in the back of it.

I kept bringing up these small issues with the "project manager" and all I kept hearing was don't worry "it will look good in the end". I don't want it to just look good in the end I want it done correctly without argument. So after its all said and still not done. I've spent just over $52,000 for a scratched up half-a$$ed remodel job. and all they credited me was $1100.

Even if you talk to the owner of the company he trys to turn this all around to make it seem like its the homeowners fault. This is because he's only hearing one side of the story from the "project manager".

So if you don't mind some one in your house for 8 months and you getting a job that's not up to standard then hire these guys. If you want a real job done correctly go elsewhere fast. I look at it like this I wanted a new remodel not a stratched up and barely functioning one. You don't go to the dealership and buy a new car and let them scratch and dent up the car before you take delivery of it.
