Beware going to this dealership if you need financing. they employ some of the oldest and sleaziest plays in the book. heres how it works:they get you in the door with a seemingly good price-only to find out you may not qualify for financing (or they start at a high rate) <this is how they make up part of the sales commission on financed or leased vehicles>

next, while your waiting hours or days to see what they can do. they will hit your credit anywhere from 3 to ten times!!!this has an immediate effect: if you go to another dealership your credit will have gone down. sometimes by as much as 4 points per hit. remember 2-4 hits is comparing, more than that and the credit agencies downgrade your number.

this insures that you probably can't get a better deal at another dealership. you are now stuck with the 'best they can do'

They ran my credit 10 times in 12 days!!three times with Ford. I specifically told them to only run it once. When I went somewhere else they refused to remove the useless inquires and even added another one after i had already bought a car. Both the GM Scott Nicols and the finance manager, eddie moment are aware and endorse these gorilla tactics.

stay away from this dealership. it will cost you much more in the long run, especially if you value your financial well being. They are unscrupulous and dishonest.

Ive just learned that this dealership has indeed violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Under this act , violations can result in actual damages; and/or $1,000.00 per occurrence and attorneys fee's. They can also be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission.

Stay tuned, they are being put on notice.

Jim, instead of worrying about my syntax, why don't you be helpful in describing the laws of honest selling that, Im obviously not aware of, and that mulling is obviously ignoring/not following.

This is a casual forum. I stated the problem, quickly and concisely and in an easy to read manner. Be positive and help!!! <your comments are sophomoric>

In economic times like these (especially for working people like me) its a very big deal if your credit is 730 or 670. the 60 point swing that Mullinax effected on me is a big deal-and they know it

Thanks in advance-
TC

How about this...

All car dealers are required to perform their duties honestly or face jail time.

People who complain about car dealers not following the law need to do so with a MINIMUM level or grade school grammar, sentence structure and PUNCTUATION.

Some of you people write as if your IQ varies with room temperature!
