A lot of car dealers in Ohio have been offering 0% financing in light of recent national events. Mullinax Ford in N. Canton is one. As my husband and I discovered when we got there, however, what they advertise is not true. Amazingly when we arrived they were out of all cars that they were offering 0% financing on. All they had left were cars with 2.9% interest. Fine. We left.

Low and behold when we received our Saturday paper who had a huge ad for 0% on 2001 and 2002 cars? You guessed it Mullinax! What a surprise. When I called the dealership to inquire about this I was hung up on twice. When I finally did speak to someone he said sorry for the misunderstanding and they do have 0% on 2001 and 2002 vehicles. When I explained that we were told on Wednesday they didn't have any more 2001 vehicles he corrected himself to say oh yeah that's right but we have 2002 cars with 0%.

Well, we aren't going to waste another trip down there, in fact even though we have used the dealership for years we will no longer shop there. I think it is disgusting that so many businesses are trying to make a profit off the recent tragedies and it only makes it worse when they actually try to take advantage of people in the name of "patriotism".

The United States Attorney General, John Ashcroft, has requested the consumers turn in anyone who uses the tragedy to turn a buck when fraud is involved. Your scheme is a bait and switch. I would submit a complaint to you Attorney General since these frauds have been given high priority.
