Munchkin Land Daycare abused & mistreated children, NOT State-certified Elwood, Huntington New York
A woman by the name Stacey Young who runs a daycare/childcare facility in the surrounding suffolk county areas is not state certified. She runs her business out of her home. She has mistreated and abused children in her care. She has also exceeded the amount of children in attendance that the state allows.
I have reported her to CPS (Child Protective Services). As far as i know she has moved from her Elwood Road, Elwood NY location prior to my reports to CPS and probably is still running her illegal business if she has not been already shut down by the state.
I believe she may be in Huntington NY now. PLEASE do not send your child to be in her care. I have witnessed first hand, abuse and demeaning and vulgar language towards young children. I have witnessed her hit, push, and yank children whom are only acting their age. I also witnessed her force children to lay down and be quiet at the ages of 16-18 months during nap time. If the child was not sleepy and decided to move around a designated play pen she would THROW them on their backs and hold them down so they could not move.
She has also allowed her dog to run free on what is designated the childrens "play area" where they dog would frequently urinate. She would allow the urine to just dry up in the sun and would allow the children to continue playing on the contaminated toys, and floor. Once again I urge you to report this woman if you have witnessed any sort of abuse and if you child is currently in her care.
