Complaint Review: Murphy

My wife and I both purchase fuel and cigs from your Lake Wales FLORIDA location nearly daily and this year just before Christmas we over drew or account.  MAINLY with the Holds Murphys USA put on our account we had made 14 purchase while you had nearly 300 dollars of our money tied up on holds.   

Now the reason I dont think we new about your new policy of holding $75 $150 or any amount you want against a 5 dollar cigarette purchase or fuel purchase. According to our bank  Mid Florida this is the new way of business we cant protect your money and we don't post the holds on your statements we just take the 30 each time they hold and you buy against the money they hold.  I ain't a real smart person but I knew this is not the way things were last Christmas.

 Not rich either because both of us have been unemployed for nearly 6 mo of 09,  We are seasonal workers Citrus and Taxes and I am a disabled veterans and  we have 3 kids. 14 * $30 is  420 in  NSF fees  my kids did nott see for Christmas. 

   OH where is the Christmas spirit I went to Walmart bought some gas to get the presents home not to far away only to find out 2 weeks before Christmas No Money even though its payday. My check came in that week Mid Florida took 420 of the 560.  No money was available for bills that I wrote checks on and paid electronically now it showed in my account as available but by the time everything came down they  Murphys WAS STILL HOLDING MY FUNDS...... I have read similar stories today and it brakes my heart the oil company have to stoop to this level even when we are paying 2.60 cents to the Gallon for the cheep stuff.  120 bucks my wife somehow made are Christmas Merry and I found the nerve to get this letter out.  MURPHYS NEW LAW NO MORE OILY GRINCH CHRISTMAS BAh humbugs and darn farfenugen *#$*!!
