Musicdownload is misleading and dishonest ripoff Internet
musicdownload.net is very, very misleading. I was ripped of by them when I believed I was purchasing a 10 year V.I.P.membership to a site where I could download unlimited movies and music for a flat one time fee of $22.99.
I also signed up for their offer of;
"Download: TV Shows, Movies, Games, Ringtones, E-Books & Software for only $9.95!"
and their offer of;
"Burn Music to regular CDs + Add Anonymous Privacy Protection for only $9.95! (Save $49.99 - **Recommended)"
for a grand total of $42.89!
Shortly after, I recieved two emails, one from ClickBank telling me that my payment was processed and another from musicdownload.net giving me a user name and password.
Much to my surprise all I recieved for my $42.89 was a site which listed a pile of different P2P filesharing programs (like limewire and morpheus) which you can download for free anyway.
Their Download Search Page lets you do a "search" but all it does is give you a fake "error" message that only redirects you to register again. ( I'm guessing this is a trick to make you to buy another membership.)
I have sent message to thier Tech Support asking to take advantage of their "60 day money back guarantee". I haven't hear back from them as of yet.
I have also Emailed ClickBank requesting my money back. As their email stated;
"ClickBank will be happy to assist you directly. To make
a customer service inquiry with regard to this purchase
please visit:
http://clickbank.com/cs/?4548cf21f4m0v1v9"
Much to my surprise, when I clicked on that link, Clickbank's website,I saw that downloadmusic.net and ClickBank were affiliated.
I have yet to hear from either companies.
