Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company a Kemper Home Service company worst customer service ever. St Louis Missouri
I received a letter from Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company regarding a life Insurance policy my husband had that named me as the beneficiary. Note that he passed away 5 and a half years ago, so I was shocked that they contacted me after all these years.
I was asked in the letter to contact them and provided a phone #. I spent all day on the phone on hold trying to get thru to a person, and never reached a live person. I tried 3 different times, and each time, I was put on hold for over an hour. The last time, I waited 2.5 hours on hold, and no one ever answered. The call just finally cut off. What kind of customer service is this?

A friend of mine also received a litter similar to yours and got no answer at the phone number. I called a direct line to Atlanta Life Insurance Company 800-777-8467, and found that there was a policy on her husband who had passed 23 years ago.
Her letter contained a policy number and was addressed to the family of the insured. The policy was very old and she is in the process of making a claim.
Just thought I would share this info and phone number. Might not be a scam.
