I had gone to a 90 minute tour in Arizona to purchase a voucher for a 7 day cruise for $99 back in 8-04 and had been calling MVI alot to ask questions (ok no problem there) but last year I had called them to set up for a date for my cruise in 2005 and had to pay $534.26 for 2 people to go to the Mexican Rivera (which for my understanding it should of been $99 per person but they say you have to add port, tax and so on....ok.... later on in 2005 I got a letter stating that because of hurricanes going on that I can pick all these options which I picked to still go on the cruise in 2006.

I decided to go on this site and check it out and BAM!!! What a surprise with all the people that got ripped off and had no luck getting through when they tried calling so I tried calling 813-621-2601 which is called now, "Grand Incentives" travel agent on 3-1-06 and spoke with a lady named Alaya and she said that MVI did close down as of FEB 6, 2006 and no where to be found and she said if I were you I would get a lawyer or something. So I went on the internet for Florida Trade commission and filed a complaint and also BBB and hope to GOD something good comes out of it like....REFUND???

My mistake is I paid by check put I had it mailed certified (which doesn't matter). I usually pay by Credit Card only, that way you have a good chance on getting your money back but I thought this was a legit company (WRONG!!) and now the bank says there is nothing they can do, so now I am really SCREWED!! Never been ripped off before but first time for EVERYTHING right? So I now have learned NO MORE TOURS, no matter how good they sound and ALWAYS pay with a Credit Card (not debit)with any purchase from ANY companies (legit ones). I am investing more on this and will let everyone know if I come up with anything NEW!! I guess this is a lesson to me, "IF its to good to be true, IT IS!!!!! If anyone has any suggestions on how else to get my money back? Please let me know and we all just have to hope for the BEST!!!!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!
