Alas, we too are victims of MVI's dirty dealings and unprofessionalism.

We allowed them five months for our vacation, only to be told that the dates were not available one month prior to our date. When we asked for an explanation, we got transferred, put on hold, told our orginal worker was fired. Calls were never returned. And finally, when I talked to someone in person, she informed me she didn't have to listen to me and hung up on me!

That is certainly not the kind of customer service that they were ranting about while I was on hold. And it's certainly not the kind of customer service I was ever taught. I know how to get a message across without being loud or obnoxious, yet this woman accused me of "yelling" at her. The yelling only started after she hung up on me.

This company is such a scam. I wish I had never heard of MVI. I wish I had looked them up before sending them a deposit. I'm a little afraid that we are never going to see that money again. What a great way for a company to make money! keep deposits and then hang up on people who are trying to find out what is going on!!!

I am amazed to report that we actually got our $100. within 2 weeks. We informed the company we were contacting our local news channel, the Florida BBB and the Attorny General regarding their company.

if you think that they rip off their customers you should see how they treat their employees.

Ever hear of comp time? it's not legal and they make employees for overtime. they also do not pay you for the vacation time they owe you if you quit b/c you get tired of lying to poor old ladies.

head this warning: DO NOT SEND MINI VACATIONS A 100.00 DEPOSIT FOR ANY AIR AND LAND TRIP, IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!THEY WILL KEEP YOUR 100.00 DEPOSIT. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU CALL 621-1400 AND ASK TO SPEAK TO CINDY JACKSON. THAT IS THE GIRL IN CHARGE OF REFUNDS(ANOTHER LAIR)

THAT COMPANY SUCKS AND I WILL NEVER WORK FOR SUCH A SCAM ARTIST EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you people are correct, the company is not a rip off but the air and land trip is, it is a break certificate. this means that it is sold to vendors for high dollar and given to you people after a high pressure selling session and you mail in 100.00 and they start the games, notice that you must send a postal money order only, via cert mail.

if you get past that you then wait for months to get a reservation form, of course the date that you requested over 90 days ago is not avail, this is normal procedure. and mvi has had your 100.00 or more dollars for almost a year.

if you ask for another time to travel that date will also be filled. you must be a sun country/ grand getaways member to go on the trip that is if you don't go to the bbb/ atty general and file a formal complaint. now they even send yet another letter to people that are awaiting airline tickets along with a full refund asking them to take a land only trip with some gas money///what a joke//if you do not give 90 notice, not cert mail, not postal money order all are ways to make the cust give up on ever taking the trip and asking for a refund. another joke. good luck and my advise to everyone is that they do not send money to this company. they blow enough on their cars already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
