Complaint Review: Mwi Connections

We have been receiving a monthly charge on our credit card from "MWI", a company we never heard of, and never authorized to charge us for anything.

When we tried to call, they refused to tell us what company we had reached and asked for detailed information about us. Two dead-end calls later, I pushed hard, and they then said they were a company that offers discounts on many services and that they would send me a package in the mail. Further, if I still did not wish to receive these "services" I could choose to cancel.

I demanded to be removed from their list immediately, and suddenly the thickly accented young woman couldn't understand English. She just repeated that she would send me a brochure and if I then still wished to cancel their services, I only had to call her back.
