I didn't even know who MWI was, but when I saw the $159.99 charge on my credit card on 1/8/04 I was definately going to find out!

First of all, the rep who answered and helped me (Brandy -operator id 9858) was very rude and non-understanding! They had my account information and said that the service was a web-enroll back on 2/4/03. I found out that there was a charge I didn't even know about in March/03, but I didn't even care about that charge. I just wanted the most recent charge removed, because I didn't ever use the service and the previous membership from 3/03 to 2/04 was never used! Brandy tried to tell me that it was being used and when I asked her the date or transaction, she said that this information is confidential and she couldn't tell me what the charges were.

Anyway, when I advised Brandy that I never got anything from MWI (no membership kit, no confirmation email, no regular postal mail) and also told her that I have never used the membership and I wanted to cancel and get a refund she was full of rebuttals. She told me that my wife was the one who opened the account and advised me to check with her before cancelling it.

Brandy then insisted that because this was a web-enroll and because I or my wife agreed to the terms and agreement, we were unable to get a refund. I again explained to Brandy that I would have gladly cancelled the membership if I had known it was in effect, but because there was no email, no postal mail, nothing at all sent to me...I was unaware of the membership.

I immediately requested to speak with a supervisor. Brandy told me she was getting a supervisor for me and placed me on hold. I was on hold for about 10 minutes before Brandy came back and said she would transfer me to Charlie (manager), then she placed me back on hold where I remained indefinately (I waited at least 15 more minutes), until I hung up to start over again!

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any billing company. I would jump at the opportunity to sue this company, they deserve it!
