Complaint Review: MWI*Connections Or Dealpass.com

After reviewing an "unknown charge" on my bank statement, I decided to call this phone number linked to MWI*Connections.

At first I thought this was a late fee from Blockbuster but there would be no way that they would be linked to MW*Connections. The number 1-888-868-6216 appeared on my statement with no clue why I was charged $139.95 on April 10th of 2003.

So, I called the number and found out that www.dealpass.com is a web-site that allows people to get so called "deals" on entertainment, shopping, and other products for a discount after you pay a fee of $139.95.

This has never made sense to me and I would never sign up for something so stupid and expensive. After being on hold for 4 minutes, I asked a customer service rep for a refund and she said that I would receive it within 5 to 7 business days. She also knew the address of my old apartment along with my credit card number!

I am mostly upset that there was a transaction with no card present. This is highly illegal and this so called "company" needs to be sued for every penny that they've taken along with NSF fees and trauma!!!
