Complaint Review: MWI Connections

Ok, I get some bulk rate junk mail a last week that says. CONNECTIONS and has lots of logos like Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Disney World, etc. I start to read it and see that it is a "plan" to get discounts. I immediately commented Yeah whatever, I dont wanna get caught up in some scheme like that... and tossed it aside with the intent to throw it away.

Well, today my mother said she had a concern about a large charge on her Simmons credit card that she didnt recognize. It was reported as being charged on 2-13-03. I asked her what it was and she said MWI Connections Neither she nor I had never heard of the company before and I said hold on, let me check it out on the web. Oh my gosh, THIS is what I found....at least 45 rip off reports about this same company in the exact same regard.

Then it hit me about the junk letter. I went to reread it and it said ...to thank you for your membership.. WHAT MEMBERSHIP!

I am steaming and here it is after hours on the weekend no less. Something has to be done about these people! This is unadulterated piracy....nothing less! I suppose we will call the credit card company in the morning and try to straighten this out but from what I have read, it looks like dealing with these pirates at MWI Connections isnt going to be smooth sailing.
