I was paying my bills today and happened to notice that the minimum payment on my credit card was more this month than last. I haven't been using it, so I wondered how that could be possible. I looked at the charges, and there was a charge of $69.95 from a company called BDI Home Lifestyles. I have no idea who these people are, and I definitely know I didn't pay them any money willingly because I haven't been using my card.

I searched through my old statements and, lo and behold, there was a charge two months earlier of $109.95 from MWI Essentials. I got online and did a search for BDI Home Lifestyles with no luck. Then I searched for MWI Essentials and this site came up. It seems that a lot of people have been fraudulently been charged by this company. Many people, including myself, don't even know what this company is. I am sure that BDI is related, because they both are listed as Connecticut companies and it seems like more than a coincidence to me.

I called both numbers listed, but since today is Saturday I only got a recording for both. Both seem to be membership services of some type. For MBI Essentials the recording listed their website, which isn't included in the available links but hopefully will be added.

I am disputing these charges with my credit card company, but now I'm worried they will hit me again. Beware of these people!
