MWI Essentials; Connections; Homeswork rip-off fraud somewhere Connecticut
If you have been ripped off by this company like my husband and I have, please contact the FTC or your state attorney general's office. The more complaints that they receive on MWI (pick a name), the quicker they will investigate this company. Our loss was an UNAUTHORIZED $109.95 from our account.
They said that this was for something that was ordered from an infomercial and it was a 30 day trial period, which would have begun on August 20, 2002. I know that this is a lie because my husband was away on military training at the time and was not anywhere near a T.V or a telephone.
The service representive said that they will refund the money, but after reading some of your other complaints, we'll see about that. They cannot get away with this any longer.
I have gotten the word out to everyone that I know to be on the look out on their bank statements for anything unusual with this company's name on it.
