MWI Essentials fraudulent ripoff business, they didn't get away with it! Omaha Nebraska
I stumbled across your site and saw a report about MWI Essentials consumer ripoff fraud dated 8/28/2002 and couldn't help but report my problem.
I received my credit card bill and immediately saw a charge for $72.oo from MWI Essentials on March 12th 1999, this was on March 25, 1999 I then immediately called the 800 number for MWI and talked to a man named Charles with ID # H6208 and he said he would credit my account for the charge. I also called my credit card company and put them on notice about the problem. The next day My wife got a call from MWI offering her gift certificates, which she refused.
This all started when my wife ordered a TAEBO tape from a TV commerical. I contacted TABEO by email and got no response. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and did get response and they even sent me a copy of a letter from MWI to them which was nothing but lies.
I contacted by email the city attorney in Omaha at email pkratz@ci.omaha.us , this was on April 7 1999 and I got a response that said: Thank you for the information, I have asked the prosecution section to look into the matter. End of response, and never heard any more.
I have copies of emails, credit card statements, notes and letters from BBB & MWI lies. Keep in mine this was 3&1/2 years ago and they're still ripping people. I think of all the innocent people that are robbed every day and many don't even know it. How long will this go on with these people?
Thanks for you attention.
