I received my Credit card statement and found an unknown charge. I then called the company to find out what I was being billed for. The man said his name was "Spencer ID#16091" This sounded strange because he had an Indian accent. He informed me that I order something from an infomertial and also agreed to try there service for 2 weeks. After the 2 week trial period they had a right to charge $139.95 for their services. There service is a cupon savings book that would save me money on common household goods and services.

I informed him that I did not accept any such service and had never received any information or cupons withen the 2 week period. He apoligized and said he would send it. I should expect to receive it withen 7 2 10 days. If I was still unhappy withthe service then I should call back to cancel to get a full refund. I informed him that I was already unhappy with the service because I did not authorize the chare for this service.

He offered to pay for $100 of my cable bill if I just send him the bill. I told him I wanted the 139.95 credited back to my account. He told me to call back between the hours of 9am - 5pm and they would be able to handle it. I have called my credit card company to dispute the charge. Of courese I will have to follow up with a written account of the charges.

By the way... That product I orderd was the "Better Pasta Pot" from their TV commercial. And I still haven't received that!

Yep! I got a full refund. It took 3 phone calls (800-411-8104) before I got someone who cared. The first person, mentioned above, told me to call between 9 and 5, but then he processed my call by sending me $100 in gift certificates that can only be sent to Galleria. If yopu are a member. The second call put me in touch with someone who hung up the phone before speaking to me. Then John (ID# 4306) processed my refuund. He said it would take 7-10 days but it only took 4.

I did find the source... It was that d**n "Better Pasta Pot" infomercial after all. (800-490-9393)

I called them and complained. They said that I agreed to it. So I asked to speak to a manager and told him to play the original recording back to me. He couldn't recall the recording. So he apoligized for the problem.

I will be watching my Statements a little closer for a while.
