MWI*Homeworks Plus And MWI*Simple Escapes2 Fraudulent charges of membership fees on 4 occasions. Quickly canceled, cc canceled & then noticed 2 more a yr ago. ripoff Connecticut

Similar story to what I've been reading online. MWI apparently has several divisions - I was hit by 2, Homeworks & Simple Escapes. When I called, they called them membership fees. Were friendly about canceling but vague when I tried to find out how it happened.

After canceling 2 charges of $149.95 I went back to old credit card bills to see that a year ago I was charged to each of these companies $99. Now I need a mailing address so I can write asking for a refund since I have since canceled that credit card.

The last person I spoke with mentioned I was "offered this membership" when I purchased my Ultimate Chopper from an Infomercial. I don't recall the offer but is definitely not something I would have been interested in.

Also, even if I did want the membership, I never received a thing in the mail which confirms that it's all a fraud. Now that I've canceled, I can no longer reach a person via the phone # to ask for a mailing address.
