Complaint Review: MWI Homeworks Plus

I was receiving charges to my credit card from this company. When I called to find out what it was, I wasn't told what it was. I was told it was authorized when another product was ordered from another company (EZ QUIT). I was told I accepted a $25 gift card for Home Depot in exchange for signing up for this program.

I never have rec. a gift card for Home Depot. My membership(?) was cancelled and I was offered a refund for 1 month. I was also told that I would be transferred to someone who could refund the rest. After being transferred, I was told I could get a refund for only one more month because the contract had been fulfilled. (What contract?)

I just asked that if it was satisfied, then where was my gift card. I was told it was sent in January. She could not tell if it had been used yet and offered to send another one. I told her I didn't want another card. I wanted my money back. She said she could not authorize... only put in a request.

I then ranted and asked for a supervisor or someone higher up. I was told there was nobody higher. I asked her who she answered to and she said noone?? I ranted some more, and finally, she offered to refund all money within 3-5 bx. days. We shall see if I get my refund.
