I joined Freedvds.com and I tried out a few services, MWI*Homeworks Plus was one, authorizing the initial 1 dollar charges, and in return I collect points for Freedvds.com. Later on, I cancelled my memberships on Jan. 20, before my free trial memberships expired. Then on Feb 3, a hold was placed on my checking account for a fee of $14.95, causing my account an overdraft fee. It then also caused another check I had written to result in another overdraft fee because I no longer had sufficient funds. However if the initial $14.95 were never charged I would have incurred no fees and this was verified by my bank. I called and spoke with Ms. Greene, she verified that I called and cancelled on Jan. 20, but did not know why it wasn't processed. She stated that the $14.95 would be refunded, it has, and that I should fax information showing that their charge caused the overdrafts. My bank and I faxed the info on Feb. 6. I called back on Feb. 24 and spoke with Illian(14715) who stated that they are still reviewing it, and I should check back in 1 to 2 weeks. March 9, today, I called @ 9:40am, to ask to be paid for the overdrafts caused by this company. I've spoken with Velvini(5915) and she said they will not be authorizing the payment because I never called and cancelled. I asked why she would say something different than Ms. Greene, she said that lookin at my account, she only saw that I called, there was no record of cancellation. I asked why she had saw it different than Ms. Greene, and told her that I also cancelled other memberships that day, I'm sure I cancelled. She then verified the other cancellations, but still could not verify this one. She then stated she would file the papers again. I asked how long it would take. First she stated the department was still working on overdraft charges for people from Jan. Then she said check back in "1 to 2 weeks".
I'm almost certain that in 1 to 2 weeks nothing will have changed. Don' be a Sucker. Watch for anything from DEALPASS.COM
